Do I Need a Root Canal?

This delicate procedure removes the source of tooth pain (the nerve) and prevents additional damage to the inside of the tooth. Dr. Gehring will carefully clean out the infected tissues, medicate the inside of the tooth, then seal it off to prevent the tooth from becoming reinfected. After your endodontic treatment, we recommend placing a crown over your tooth to reinforce the already weak structure.
